Tickets for Room 801: Mile High Club are now on sale, with early bird discounts available until the end of January.
You can get all the details of our ticket types and pricing on our Tickets page, buy your tickets on Eventbrite, and join us on our Facebook Event. As always, please let anyone know about the convention that you think would be interested!
The convention program is looking great but we still have room for another speaker or two, especially if you’re a yuri fan – contact us if you’re interested. We’re also still on the lookout for video suggestions for the Swap Meet.
There’s just under a week left to register for Room 801 at our special early bird pricing! There won’t be any more extensions to the cutoff date, so if you want to save a bit on your ticket purchase then you’ll need to register by the end of November. Head over to the Tickets page for more details and to register.
We’ve been steadily announcing our special guests over the last few months, and we think their expertise will offer something for everyone! Stay tuned next month for the final guest announcements and our draft screening and activity schedules.
Room 801 will be held during the Sydney Mardi Gras 2014, so if you’re travelling from a regional area or interstate it’s a good idea to plan ahead. You can stay at the venue, and there are also several budget hotels and backpacker hostels in the vicinity. We’re working on some shopping, eating and attraction guides, just in case you want to extend your stay in Sydney!
If you’re going to Supanova Sydney this weekend, drop by the Y Labs table (C4 in the Artist’s Alley) and say hi! We’re upgrading from business cards to flyers now that we have things to announce. If you’re an artist or vendor and are interested in trading info, we’d love to chat to you too.
Tomorrow is Free Comic Book Day! Pirotess will be wandering around the Sydney CBD to hang out and do some serious manga shopping, so there’s a good chance you’ll run into her at Kings Comics or Books Kinokuniya.
If you manage to figure out who she is, don’t be shy… say hi and take some cards!
