Getting There

Parramatta is located in central western Sydney, with connections to almost every kind of transport available. The Holiday Inn is located a short walk from the Parramatta Transport Interchange, which is where most trains, buses and coaches will take you.

Public Transport

Parramatta City Council has an excellent public transport guide on their website.

If you’re relying on trains, ferries and/or buses to get to the convention, calling 131 500, using a real-time app or visiting NSW Transport Info (mobile version) to plan your trip is highly recommended – this service will tell you about any trackwork or delays to transport services.

To get to Parramatta Station from Sydney Airport, take a train from the Domestic or International Terminal to Central Station, then go to platform 18 and catch any Western Line (T1/yellow) train. Trains to Penrith, Richmond or Blacktown will always stop at Parramatta. If there is trackwork, there will usually be an express bus to Parramatta Station.

Taxis

Taxis are available throughout Sydney and can take you to and from the venue directly. You can choose a taxi service to call or download a Crime Stoppers-approved taxi booking app for your smartphone.

The nearest taxi rank to the hotel is at Parramatta Transport Interchange,

Driving

Driving can be a little confusing in parts of Parramatta, but it beats driving in the Sydney CBD!

The Holiday Inn has parking available for $15 per car per day. However, parking is subject to availability and is limited.

You may be able to find street parking, especially if you arrive earlier in the day. If you have a smartphone you may want to download Parramatta City Council’s “Smart Car Parking” app for iOS, Android or Windows mobile.

IMPORTANT: most street parking is metered on Saturdays and patrolled regularly by Council. Ensure you are aware of the closing times for secure car parks in the area, as some of them close earlier on weekends.
