Terms of Registration

Adults Only

Room 801 is strictly an over 18s event. While we acknowledge that not all yaoi and yuri is sexually explicit, the convention programming and products offered by traders will contain material with mature content. Attendees are required to show an acceptable form of photo ID along with their ticket to gain entry into the convention.

Acceptable forms of photo ID include:

  • Australian drivers’ licence

  • Proof of age card

  • Keypass

  • Passport

Other forms of ID will not be accepted. If you cannot present photo ID upon entry, your ticket will be cancelled and refunded (a 30% admin fee applies).

Refunds

Full refunds are available until 11:59pm on the 31st of January. Refunds after this date will attract a 30% admin fee.

Transfers or Changes

If you wish to change the information on your ticket, or if you can no longer attend Room 801 and want to transfer your ticket to someone else, you can update your ticket details on Eventbrite.

By accepting a ticket transfer, the new ticketholder confirms that they are over 18 as of the date on the ticket and agree to be bound by the Terms of Registration and the Code of Conduct. If the new ticketholder is found to be underage, the ticket will be cancelled and you will not be eligible for a refund.
